In the private lesson, we go over some important topics like leadership, management, structure, house training issues, and crate training issues. We also focus on any unwanted behaviors such as barking, jumping, mouthiness, or anything else you would like them to stop doing.

Group Class Focus

The AKC® S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is a program that is more than just basic puppy obedience such as sit, down, stay, coming when called, and walking on leash. It is designed to make your pup a great puppy, beyond basic obedience, and helps you become a great owner. Not only will this create a better relationship with you and your pup, but your time together will be much more enjoyable.

Puppies will also get to socialize throughout the course of the program. Getting your puppy socialized within the first four months can decrease the risk of behavioral issues later in life including fear, avoidance and/or aggression.
